The IndiePump Top Choice Award
Every year, thousands of incredible indie games are released on Steam, itch.io, Epic Games Store, and other platforms. While many of these games deserve attention, only a small percentage manages to reach players, streamers, and reviewers. And the IndiePump Top Choice Award is here to change that!
Getting discovered is one of the biggest challenges in indie game marketing.
That’s why we created the IndiePump Top Choice Award. A community-driven award that helps indie developers gain visibility while connecting them directly with gaming creators, reviewers, YouTubers, Twitch streamers, bloggers, and influencers.
Whether you’re developing your next indie hit or creating gaming content online, IndiePump offers a free way to become part of a growing community built around indie games.

What Is the IndiePump Top Choice Award?
The IndiePump Top Choice Award is a community-voted indie game award.
Instead of relying on industry judges, the winners are decided by people who actually play indie games:
- Players
- Gaming creators
- Streamers
- Reviewers
- Members of the IndiePump community
Every game registered in our directory receives a free nomination for the award.
This means every participating developer has the opportunity to showcase their game and earn recognition from a community that genuinely enjoys discovering new indie titles.
Why We Created the IndiePump Top Choice Award
Winning an award is great.
But getting your game in front of the right audience is even better.
The goal of the IndiePump Top Choice Award is to help solve one of the biggest problems facing indie developers:
Visibility.
Most indie studios out there don’t have the marketing budget of AAA publishers. Even amazing games can struggle to gain traction without exposure.
By combining a public game directory, community voting, and a creator network, IndiePump makes it easier for developers to reach people who actively look for new indie games.
IndiePump Top Choice Award For Indie Developers
If you’re an indie developer, registering your game is completely free.
When you submit your game, you’ll receive:
- A listing in the IndiePump Game Directory
- A free nomination for the IndiePump Top Choice Award
- Exposure to players and community voters
- Access to a growing list of gaming creators and influencers interested in covering indie games
Unlike traditional marketing platforms, IndiePump also helps developers find creators who may be interested in reviewing, streaming, or showcasing their games.
Instead of searching endlessly across social media, you can browse creators who have already expressed interest in indie titles.
Connect With Gaming Creators through the IndiePump Top Choice Award
One of the biggest benefits of joining IndiePump is the creator directory.
Developers can discover creators from multiple platforms, including:
- YouTube
- Twitch
- TikTok
- Gaming blogs
- Review websites
- Other content platforms
This makes it easier to build genuine collaborations, distribute review copies, and increase awareness for your game.
IndiePump Top Choice Award For Content Creators and Influencers
If you’re a content creator, IndiePump gives you access to something every gaming channel needs:
New games to cover.
Creators who register become part of our creator directory, making it easier for indie developers to discover and contact them.
In addition, registered creators receive free Steam keys for games listed in our directory whenever available.
Whether you produce:
- Gameplay videos
- Reviews
- Let’s Plays
- Livestreams
- Written articles
- Social media content
IndiePump helps connect you with developers looking for creators just like you.
It’s a win-win situation:
- Developers gain exposure.
- Creators gain access to new games.
- Players discover great indie titles.
IndiePump Top Choice Award: A Community-Driven Award
Unlike many game awards that focus on publishers or critics, the IndiePump Top Choice Award is built around community participation.
Players and creators vote for the games they enjoy the most, helping outstanding indie games receive the recognition they deserve.
This encourages genuine engagement rather than popularity based solely on advertising budgets.
Premium Promotion for Developers Throught the IndiePump Top Choice Award
While joining the directory and receiving a nomination are completely free, IndiePump also offers optional promotional services for developers who want additional visibility.
These include opportunities such as:
- Featured placement in newsletters
- IndiePump Showcase participation
- Additional promotional campaigns
- Increased exposure across our community
Developers can choose these services whenever they’re ready to expand their marketing efforts, while still benefiting from the free community features. Take a look at some of the games that have won the IndiePump Top Choice Award in the past!
